Elgar's orchestration of Chopin's Funeral March (from Piano Sonata No.2) was made in 1932 for His Master's Voice at the request of the BBC Symphony Orchestra. This is its first appearance in print.
Elgar's arrangement is in the key of C minor (Chopin's original key being B Flat minor).
